SPAR Rewards
It is important that you read these SPAR Rewards terms and conditions and the SPAR Zimbabwe Privacy Policy carefully to ensure that you understand what SPAR Rewards you are eligible for, what communications you can expect and how to make sure that you receive your SPAR Rewards. If you do not comply with these rules, your membership of SPAR Rewards may be terminated.
- Membership is open to all SPAR customers over the age of 18.
- If you belong to a SPAR Rewards program in another country, it is subject to separate terms and conditions, and the account will not work in Zimbabwe, and vice versa.
- The SPAR Rewards account is not a credit facility.
- SPAR Rewards accounts are only available in participating SPAR stores in Zimbabwe.
- Sign up to the Rewards Program is free.
- We reserve the right to withdraw or cancel your participation in the SPAR Rewards Program if we consider you to have acted contrary to these SPAR Rewards Terms and Conditions.
- We reserve the right to discontinue the SPAR Rewards program at any stage without reason.
- Your SPAR Rewards account and status level (eg Pensioner) may not be transferred to someone else.
- Only the person to whom the account is issued may use the SPAR Rewards card.
- Family members who are over the age of 18 years should each apply for their own SPAR Rewards account.
- SPAR reserves the right to suspend the SPAR Rewards program or to change the benefits of the program at any time without reason.
- In case of termination, or suspension, the Rewards account will be deactivated.
- Cash and change can be loaded onto your Rewards card at multiple stores and used at multiple stores.
- We use your personal information to create a profile for you.
- We collect this information to process your application so you can have a customer record with us. This is how we provide all the services as set out in the terms and conditions for these programmes.

- When you use your Rewards account, we collect some information, such as your shopping preferences. Analysing information like this helps us ensure we do the best possible job of meeting your needs.We keep your personal information private however in some instances we may share your information with other companies that help us provide services to you for the purposes of improving your SPAR shopping experience (e.g., the company that analyses our loyalty data)
- From time to time SPAR Zimbabwe may send you promotional offers for products and services which may be of interest to you based on your past shopping behaviour.
- When you receive promotional information relating to our SPAR Rewards program you will always be given the opportunity to unsubscribe.
- You may also subscribe or unsubscribe at any time online or by emailing customercare@spar.co.zw

- If you chose to delete your Rewards account, all your personal data is removed and cannot be undone.
How to place your order
- When placing an order online, a user profile will be created which will serve as consent to and acceptance of our T&Cs and Privacy Policy.
- You may select as many products as you would like, and the total thereof will be calculated for you at the check-out/payment stage of the ordering process. If there are products that are in short supply due to market constraints, we reserve the right to limit the quantity you may add to your shopping cart.
- You are permitted to add or remove any items you do not wish to have included in your cart at any point before payment. Simply select the item you wish to add or remove and move on to the next stage.
- Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice. Prices will include tax, where this is required by specific country legislation.
- We will notify you as soon as we can if any items ordered are not available.
- Ordering cut-off times:
- Orders can be placed at any time of day.
- When placing your order, select what date you would like the order delivered.
- The earliest date for a delivery is the following day.
- In the instance of unexpected heavy volume of orders or once we have reached the maximum orders that can be handled in a day, we will contact you and advise of a delay in the completion of your order. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
- In the instance of suspected fraudulent transactions, we reserve the right to hold on to any orders until it has been cleared by the financial institutions.
- Once you have selected your payment method, you will be directed to a link to a secure site PayNow for payment of the applicable purchase price for the goods.
- Deliveries are currently only within the greater Harare area.
Payment methods
Payment is subject at all times to SPAR’s agreements with its bankers and the outsourced financial transactions service provider.
You may pay for your online orders using several payment options:
- Credit and/or debit card
- VISA, MasterCard and EcoCash are accepted on the payment platform.
- We subscribe to high security and encryption standards allowing all customers to shop with peace of mind. We have taken all reasonable security measures to ensure that payment and card details, as well as related confidential information, cannot be accessed by anyone who is not authorized to do so.
- When placing your order, and providing the required personal details, including your payment card details, you warrant that you are authorised to make payment with the payment card and that there are enough funds available to pay for your order.
Once your payment has been received you will be issued with acknowledgement of order/payment via e-mail, and the collection or delivery process will then commence.
